As part of our 2nd Annual Grassroots Giving food drive, Weed Man Beaumont is mobilizing our trucks and our technicians to collect donations from our customers throughout the fall season! From September 15 through October 20, 2025, during your regularly scheduled lawn care services, we encourage you to leave non-perishable food donations on your front porch, and we will take care of the rest!
From September 15 through October 20, 2025, we’re partnering with the Southeast Texas Food Bank to collect donations of non-perishable food and household items, such as the following:
Peanut Butter (Plastic Jar)
Cereal
Oatmeal
Farina Chili
Soups
Stews
Canned Meats (SPAM-Tuna-Chicken)
Canned Fruits or Vegetables
Beans (Dry and Canned)
Pastas and Rice (white and Brown)
Sugar 4lb
Flour 5lb
Boxed Goods
Crackers
Meal Kits
Canned or Shelf-Stable Milk
This cause has never been more important, as 1 in 8 households in the United States are currently facing food insecurity, while 1 in 5 Canadian families don’t have sufficient access to quality food and other basic needs.
Donating is easy!
The day before your next lawn care application during our Grassroots Giving campaign, you will receive a text or email reminder about your next service.
During our visit, simply leave any food items for donation outside your front door (preferably in a box or bag).
Your Weed Man technician will collect all items while they are there to complete your service.
All donations will benefit our friends at the Southeast Texas Food Bank!
If you have any questions about what the most requested donation items are for local families, or about what is/isn’t permissible for donation, just reach out to us at brandon.ritenour@weedmanusa.com.
Last year, the entire Weed Man fleet (both US and Canada) combined to collect over 76,000 pounds of food (the equivalent of 64,000 meals) across North America. And we need your help to do more this year!
We hope you’ll join us in the fight against food insecurity in our community!
