Calling all customers! Help us plant the seeds of kindness and give a much-needed hand to our neighbours. It’s time for our 3rd Annual Grassroots Giving food drive!

Last year, Weed Man’s incredible customers really stepped up to help families in their communities by donating over 108,000 pounds of food for families in need across North America. That’s almost 90,000 meals! This year, we’re hoping you can help us do even more. For our 3rd Annual Grassroots Giving food drive, we're aiming to raise 110,000 pounds of food.

This is Weed Man Kitchener-Waterloo’s first year participating in the food drive, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with The Food Bank of Waterloo. Let’s show everyone how much the Kitchener-Waterloo area cares!

How Do I Get Involved With Grassroots Giving?

Donating is easy!

• The day before your next lawn care application during our Grassroots Giving campaign, you will receive a text or email reminder about your next service.

• During our visit, simply leave any food items for donation outside your front door (preferably in a box or bag).

• Your Weed Man technician will collect all items while they are there to complete your service.

• All donations will benefit our friends at The Food Bank of Waterloo!

This year, The Food Bank of Waterloo's most requested items are:

• Canned protein

• canned vegetables

• Rice

• Pasta

• Peanut butter

• Cereal

• Shelf-stable meals

• Juice boxes for back-to-school
